EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT
college planning

College is an exciting opportunity for young people to explore, learn, and become successful and independent adults.
At 17 years old, students make decisions about colleges, majors, and careers with minimal context and a limited understanding of these choices' impact. Additionally, parents and teens often find it challenging to communicate and relate to one another, especially about their future.
Knowing the importance of this decision and the investment, students need to find the proper guidance to help them identify strengths and interests, create a college list that matches their goals, develop a timeline to meet application deadlines, and offer reassurance throughout the process.

DISCOVERY
The discovery phase is the first and most important part of the college admissions process. Students discover their strengths, how their academic profile matches a college's needs, and truly know why the college will benefit them.

ASSESSMENTS TOOLS:
Personality, aptitude, and student interest assessments help students better understand their strengths, interests, and dreams. What strengths, interests, and passions could become a thriving career? Which programs or majors will help you best reach your goals?
ACTIVITIES & HONORS
Understand which activities are important to you and important to colleges.
ACADEMIC & SUMMER PLANNING:
Making sure your current and future course selections and summer plans are on track to support your college aspirations.
COLLEGE LIST
Students learn what makes a balanced college list, how to build one, and where to find the research specific to their profile.
RESEARCH:
Using data, students learn how to research colleges, understand why they must fully invest in the process, and explore the opportunities that deepen their preferences.
TIME MANAGEMENT:
Students can access a private student portal to organize their reports, testing, college list, deadlines, and application requirements.

APPLICATIONS:
The college application is the opportunity for students to shine and differentiate themselves to college admissions officers. Students will learn how to choose an application platform, gather required documents, organize deadlines and strategically determine an application plan.

ESSAYS:
Essays are a way to share who you are; your character, your personality, passions, and values. This is an amazing experience of taking time to reflect critically. Throughout our time, we will explore topics, craft the message, edit, rewrite, and refine so they tell the story of their unique self.
